Dear Members and Friends of All Saints,

“No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God lives in us, and his love is perfected in us.”

- 1 John 4:12

Who needs the Church in 2025? What purpose does it serve? How does it enrich our lives? Why do we need Christian witness in this time and in this place?

In this day where division and strife rule, the church preaches love and grace as a free gift. In this age where it’s “profits over people”, the church practices equity and service to all. In this time where dividing lines try to tell us who’s in and who’s out, the church cultivates and strives for radical inclusion.

Today, more than ever, the world needs the church because God lives in us. The way we live and serve in this community bears witness to God in the world. No one has seen God, but through us everyone can see God’s love. The commitments you make does more than just “keep the lights on” in this place. These pledges that you faithfully make equip us to serve the hungry in our community in new ways, to preach the Gospel to new people through the digital space, and so much more. Your giving makes Christ known and shares God’s love and grace through our presence. The world needs a faithful Christian witness and you are part of that here at All Saints Lutheran Church.

Our hope is that each household will prayerfully complete a May 2025-April 2026 commitment card. Instructions for completing this card can be found in the enclosed material.
