Dear Friends in Christ,                                                        December 29, 2021

As I write my last newsletter article two scripture passages come to mind. First, from Paul's letter to the Philippians 1:3-5:
"I thank my God every time I remember you, constantly praying with joy in every one of my prayers for all of you, because of your sharing in the gospel from the first day until now."

I am filled with gratitude and always will be as we remember our time with you. What a great honor to serve and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with you. We have faithfully gathered around Word and Sacrament in worship and we have shared births, baptisms, confirmations, weddings, funerals, Bible studies, retreats, coffee and meals. It has been a holy privilege to be invited into your lives and into this community we call All Saints.

I have been blessed to work with the greatest staff on earth and blessed by the servant volunteers who have given their life in service to God and All Saints. Together, we have embodied the words and deeds of Jesus, and have made a life-changing and a life-saving difference.

I could not have served All Saints without the love and support of Judy, Jaron, Jennifer, Kirsten, and their families (see picture). Know that their hearts are also filled with gratitude for all you have done for us.

All Saints will always be in our prayers, and we eagerly wait and watch as you continue to reach out and make more disciples and make more of a difference in our communities and beyond.

I close with a favorite passage that has called and continues to call All Saints to do great things as disciples of Jesus. From Ephesians 3:20-21:
"Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen."

Thanks for everything and Thanks be to God,
Pastor Eric and Family
